Wondering why our Song Book contains only a thousand songs when our Music Library has over 10,000 recordings? To start with, some really great songs just don't "work" for wedding receptions and parties. You've no doubt been at a wedding or a party and seen the dance floor clear when some songs were played. Some songs almost seem to chase people away from the dance floor. And you may be surprised to learn that many DJs break the law at weddings, parties and other events by playing songs they've copied instead of buying their own copies. We buy every song that goes into our Music Library, and it isn't uncommon for a CD to contain two or three songs that "work" at a reception or party, plus a whole bunch of songs that don't "work." So while we add all of the CD's songs to our Music Library, only those two or three good songs make it into our Song Book. And, while our Song Book is comprised of songs that will "work" at almost any event, our Music Library includes categories of music that focus on narrower areas of interest. Those categories include:
